Children watch and learn. Show them you're a brave mom who comes to God with all you are.
Lord, Show Me the Truth About Myself
"I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and You forgave the iniquity of my sin." Psalm 32:5
Lord, “see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting” (Psalm 139:24). Show me the truth about myself so that I can see it clearly. I know I cannot hide anything from You, for You see everything. Nor do I want to hide anything. Help me to confess my sins to You quickly. I pray You will “have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of Your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions” (Psalm 51:1). Make me clean and right before You. I want to receive Your forgiveness so that times of refreshing may come from Your presence (Acts 3:19).
In Jesus’ name I pray.
Help My Child to Never Allow Secret Sin
"Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight." 1 John 3:21-22
Lord, I pray You would bring to light any hidden sins in (name of child) so they can be confessed, repented of, and forgiven. Your Word says, “Bless is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered” (Psalm 32:1). I pray my son (daughter) will never be able to contain sin within him (her), but rather let there be a longing to confess everything. Keep him (her) from concealing any secret sins. May he (she) not live in guilt and condemnation, but rather dwell with a clear conscience understanding how great it is to be forgiven.
In Jesus’ name I pray.
