Don't say what you think, just say what God says.
Reel your thoughts in and put your trust in Him, because the reality is that you are serving a God whose streets are gold! He created this earth and He can take care of earthly stuff!
Notice that Jesus was so passionate about what He believed that He could easily say, “Don’t even think about those things!” Wow, that’s big! You see, Jesus knew what His Father would do. He said it in the next verse: “…For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things” (Matthew 6:32).
God knows what you need. He knows what you want. Worrying about these things doesn’t help anything. Jesus told us what to do: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33). In other words, put your passion and attention where it belongs.
You see, you’re going to get “all these things” you want and need when you put your passion towards what God wants and needs—His cause and His way of doing things. Passion for Him will lead you to greater levels of trust, and then blessings come! So, don’t let your natural mind rule your mouth. Refuse to stand in the way of your own blessing.
