Who Does Your Conversations Glorify?

Marie Chapian

Nov 12, 2024

Pause and hear yourself speak. As a mom, are your words teaching to focus on God's glory or Satan's misery?

Stop talking about your physical problems. I want you to stop talking to people about your woes, trying to get their sympathy. Stop commiserating over the negative. The trouble you speak of comes from your adversary. When you advertise his work, who are you glorifying? Me? I’m your loving, giving God, all powerful and good. I hold the answers to all your needs. Talk to Me, dear one, and let Me calm your troubled heart. Let Me help you and heal you, for this is My will. Every blessing is within you.

Luke 6:45 (NIV)

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

Exodus 15:26 (NIV)

He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”

Psalm 111:4 (NIV)

He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate.

John 14:1 (NIV)

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me.”

Romans 8:9 (NIV)

You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.
